CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed TS/SCI cleared SocAfrica IT Site Lead. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization at Stuttgart Germany

SocAfrica IT Site Lead
Candidates for the project manager position must have demonstrated knowledge and experience with project management methodologies in order to work with intricate, multifaceted projects. They need superb communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with a development team and make project presentations. This position requires a Bachelors Degree in an IT- or business-related field, a background in applications development, and five or more years of experience managing complex projects. Project management certifications, such as those from the Project Management Institute (PMI), also are required.
Candidates have the primary responsibility for managing a specific project or projects assigned by the Government to include project requirements, scope, budget, schedule and performance. The candidate monitors, adjusts and reports on project performance, budget and schedule. They provide interim progress reviews to the Government on an as-needed basis. They assist with proposing, implementing and enforcing policies, standards, and methodologies and is responsible for either developing or supervising the preparation of studies, reports and acquisition documents.

- Leads team on large projects or significant segment of large complex projects.

- Analyzes new and complex project related problems and creates innovative solutions involving finance, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components.

- Provides applications systems analysis and programming activities for a Government site, facility or multiple locations.

- Prepares long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, systems maintenance, and production activities and for necessary support resources.

- Oversees all aspects of projects.

Typical duties include:

- Managing the overall coordination of IT applications development projects, from planning through implementation

- Setting project scope, priorities, and deadlines, as well as the schedule for deliverables

- Facilitating discussions and consensus among various project stakeholders, such as analysts, applications programmers and the Government

- TS/SCI clearance (fully Adjudicated)

- DOD 8570 IAT 2 compliant (Sec+ or equivalent enrolled in CE)

- Five years of progressive and intensive experience management,

- One year of relevant experience or two years of specialized experience

- A working knowledge of Federal Acquisition law, regulations, policies and procedures, including substantial involvement in a major acquisition effort.

Educational Requirements:
Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, a Mathematics-intensive discipline, or a major field of study which either provides substantial knowledge useful in managing large, complex Automated Information System (AIS) projects or is closely related to the work as described and required by the task.
